WALLSTREET JOURNEL-CARLSON HOTELS LOOKS FOR INVESTMENT - TEAM HARLFORUM - 01-23-2016 Carlson has reportedly asked Morgan Stanley to explore strategic alternatives for its Carlson Rezidor Hotel Group, including partnerships, mergers or a sale of the company, according to a Thursday report from The Wall Street Journal. Minnetonka, Minnesota-based Carlson has more than 1,100 hotels with brands that include its core Radisson, more upscale Radisson Blu, limited-service Country Inns and Suites, lifestyle Radisson Red and a soft brand called Quorvus. Carlson also owns a significant share of the Rezidor Hotel Group, Brussels, which markets and operates Carlson brands in EMEA and has public shares that trade in Stockholm |
